The 48 Hour Music Video competition provided me a great opportunity to make a professional quality music video on a very small budget. Last year Cali Shaw Band took home 3 awards for our video "Colors" and received great prizes at the awards ceremony. In addition, the video created great local exposure for my new solo project and continues to serve as an ongoing publicity tool that I use to promote my music. I advise any band who's on the fence about registering to go ahead and take the plunge... you won't regret it!
