Alan Cook has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Motion Picture Production from The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. and has more than 30 years of still and video production experience. He has competed in the Inland Empire 48 Hour Film event for the last two years. -- Full Filipino yet Guam (USA)-born and -raised Jeanette "jd." Di Pinza joined the Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival as a staff member (logistics) in 2008, and although still staff, she has successfully weaned herself from mucho duties in the pursuit of more sleep, less stress, and a chance to do other film-related activities, such as one-day volunteering for rad factions such as the San Diego Asian Film Festival and San Diego Latino Film Festival. (Temecula's still rad, though :o). She dabbles in filmmaking - mainly as a screenwriter, producer or anonymous crew member - but is making her directorial debut with a short film that will finally (well, hopefully) see principal photography at the end of...2010...after waiting since 2009 for the greenlight, then having that greenlight dimmed days before shooting was initially supposed to start due to the restaurant location going into foreclosure. It's film projects like this that make The 48 Hour Film Project (timed! deadline!) vastly appealing, jd. reckons. jd. was writer + anonymous crew for two 48HFPs (Inland Empire and San Diego), held on back-to-back weekends in 2009, no less. The most important aspects of her experience were that the projects were completed and turned in on time, everyone on the team learned and had fun. sidenote: jd. played football for the University of Oregon Ducks (dual-degree: journalism + English). She scored half her team's points for the season as a wide receiver. True story. True, too, it was Club co-ed flag football for an Asian-Pacific Islander team that ended the season with one win (a forfeit, no less), but the *valid** reason was that all the really sporty Samoans and Hawaiians and yokozuna were playing on the real football team. Anyhow, jd. is a huge, huge, I mean yokozuna-sized fan of Oregon football. And this is part of the story behind her Facebook name: Jeanette da Duck*squirrel** ;oP

Ruth went gaga for the 48HFP one chilly 2005 spring night at Washington DC. Since 2007 she has been producing it in Israel, neglecting her grownup and responsible career as news editor and documentary film and TV producer and writer. And yes, mom, I will find a real job one of these days...
Ruth has a gorgeous hubby, four lovely kids, a dog and a headache. She enjoys Bingo nights, card tricks and extremely short walks on the beach, we're talking 2-3 minutes tops, otherwise forget it.

Scott Smith had competed in numerous film festival competitions before joining the Kansas City 48 Hour Film Project in its inaugural year in 2008. Scott has over ten years experience in a variety of roles in the realm of theatrical productions, commercials and film. Scott is a filmmaker, director, producer, Final Cut Pro editor and actor.
What Scott loves most about the 48 Hour Film Project is the opportunity it provides for individuals both novice and experienced to make a short film and have it screened in a theater by a community of fans and professionals who simply love film. The underlying concept, that the festival encourages filmmakers to put the emphasis on "doing" instead of "talking,” is principal to being successful in any undertaking, and it is one that is very rewarding for teams who successfully complete their film and share the experience of seeing their work on the big screen.

In 2006 Raymond D. Sweet knew that he wanted to be in the entertainment business. He came to this conclusion when he was producing his own public access TV shows in Tampa, Florida his native home. From there he started working with other independent filmmakers on special projects as he prepared himself spiritually, mentally and financially to separate from his job in corporate America. After being ready mentally Raymond decided to take the plunge and go into entertainment full time in August 2008. In August he was still trying to figure out what he wanted to do in the entertainment business. After a heart to heart with himself he knew that he really wanted to become an actor and those other jobs was to avoid dealing with his insecurities with his weight. Once he came to himself he decided that the only thing matter was what he wanted to do. While watching shows like CSI and looking at commercials Raymond knew then that he needed to build his confidence, because big men worked all the time it was just the matter of deciding that would be my path. So, in November 2008 he joined the Performers Studio Workshop in Tampa, Florida the premiere acting program in the state patterned after Eric Morris and he stayed there until January 2010 when he thought he should make another big move. Sweet moved to New Orleans, Louisiana known as the Hollywood of the south. It was his frequent visits to NOLA that was full of life and culture that made New Orleans an easier choice over Los Angeles and New York City. Not to mention the cost of living. Since moving to NOLA Raymond has booked two plays (Church Folks & The Unacquainted) and one independent film (Vixen). As he learned more about the film industry and his participation in the American Black Film Festival the words of John Singleton resonated with him. John told the audience that he could not take their music, scripts or other art, because he owed many people that helped him when he was starting. He encouraged the audience of aspiring filmmakers to look amongst yourselves and work with each other. From that message two mini/webisodes were created (“Order of the Onyx” and “The Substitute”). The 1st episode of “Order of the Onyx” was produced in February and is currently being edited. Future episodes are forthcoming and “The Substitute” will be produced soon. It is Raymond’s goal to work with as many independent filmmakers and playwrights to help them build their reel as they help him build his.
Raymond’s far away mentor is Will Smith and he watches a youtube version of Will’s inspiration. He also takes notes from Spike Lee, John Singleton, Will Packer, Rob Hardy, Sylvester Stallone and other writers to create and produce your own work and not wait on others.
If you would like to get in touch with Raymond D. Sweet you can contact him through email at Raymond@raymonddsweet.com or by phone at (813) 321 9855. If you would like to book Raymond D. Sweet, please contact his agent Carol Bloodworth via email at carolbworth@gmail.com or via phone at (213) 804 9065.

Landee Bryant received her undergraduate degree in the fine arts with an emphasis in photography. She dabbled in teaching art for a couple of years right out of college, but it was not for her. After being the Executive Director of an art center for two years, her dream job opened up at Maiden Alley Cinema. It inspired her to get my Master's degree in non-profit leadership and I now serve as the Executive Director of MAC (one of only four cinematic art houses in the state of Kentucky)! She thinks that participating in the 48HFP is an awesome opportunity and hopes that she and the Paducah filmmakers can represent our small corner of Western Kentucky well.

Fascinated at an early age by photography, Duane Trammell began taking pictures while in grade school. As he got older, his interest grew to include film and video.
He produced his first short film while a freshman in high school. This film later became a permanent part of his school’s library of educational films. He continued to experiment in film while serving in the US Navy. Most of his work during this period explored various forms of animation.
After leaving the Navy, he decided to pursue an education in film earning a Bachelor's degree in Television, Film and New Media Production from San Diego State University.
He has produced film and art gallery exhibitions for the internationally renowned Chicano art collaboration ‘Los Anthropolocos’ as well as commercial work for such clients as the Hard Rock Café, USS Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum, Ballast Point Brewery and San Diego City College. Since graduating San Diego State University, he has worked as Producer, Associate Programmer and Juror for the Temecula Valley International Film and Music Festival and Assistant Director/2nd Unit Director for the feature film ‘Something Blue’. He has participated in two previous 48 Hour Film Project competitions in 2005 and 2007. In both years the films he directed won numerous awards, as well as being runner up for Best Film.
Currently, Duane has formed the professional partnership of Atomic Phizz Productions with actor/physician and good friend Jeff Krebs. Their partnership continues to expand as they produce industrial videos and independent films.
Jeff has not followed the traditional path that most producers take. He earned a B.S. in Bacteriology, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He then attended medical school. After receiving his MD degree, Jeff completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills. While doing all of this, he was pursuing a high level athletic career. As a former competitive figure skater, he was used to the cameras and bright lights. Shortly after an accident on the ice ended his competitive career, he met some influential people in the entertainment industry who encouraged him to pursue acting. Jeff is a veteran of the stage and big screen and can be seen in many feature films. Jeff first worked with Director/Producer Duane Trammell in the award winning 48HFP film /Form 3254-A /as an actor. It was at that time that they forged a close professional relationship. Jeff and Duane co-produced a 48HFP film together 2 years ago and realized that they work well together. Jeff is on the Board of Directors for the San Diego Asian Film Foundation.
