The Winners Are...

The weekend of June 2nd through June 4th, in just 48 hours, 800 filmmakers across New England created 58 films which premiered June 6 and 8 at the Somerville Theatre.

After much deliberation, our panel of judges (Ty Burr, reporter and film critic at the Boston GlobeJoyce Kulhawik, President of the Boston Theater Critics Association/Film Critic for JoycesChoices.com; and Tom Meek, President of the Boston Society of Film Critics) has selected Desmond Lewis Presents: Fists of Clay as the Best Film of the 2017 Boston 48 Hour Film Project!

Congratulations to Extra Medium, the team behind the film, who will represent Boston against all the other city winners around the world at Filmapalooza.
