The 48HFP Tour came to Australia for the first time on October 8-10, 2004.
Congratulations to the Best Film of Brisbane 2004: Pash Films' "Wasabi Love"!
The Brisbane 2004 48hr Film Project was the first of its kind in Australia and was a huge success for our winning filmmakers and for everyone involved a chance to compete in an International competition with a truly level playing field. We believe the 48hr Film Project offers equal opportunities to filmmakers from various back grounds, and with varying budgets, to get their films screened on the big screen and to meet their peers in the field of experimental extreme film making! Here are what some of our competing teams had to say on the task of filmmaking in 48 hours:
The Good?
Deadline, genres, nearly everything Kolovos
Productions Wizard High
Its fun to have the whole weekend together as
a creative team Emulsion Brothers Lap Pool
The Bad?
Lack of sleep, stress due to lack of sleep, everything
else due to lack of sleep Close-Up Room
Service
What kept
you going?
Everything. We didnt even sleep. Nothing could
stop us from finishing Kolovos Productions Wizard
High
