The Edinburgh 48 Hour Film Project
What Happened During Your Weekend?
The Edinburgh filmmakers share stories from their wild weekend of filmmaking. (Blogging will begin after the filmmaking weekend ends.)
The longest 48hours of my life.
As the lighting and sound engineer I had a lot of fun during filming. but when it came to editing after 24 hours of retakes, My brain was frazzled. Big thanks to Alex, hesther and jim for keeping me sain in the wee hours of the morning, 3 hours sleep in 48 hours (not including the time awake b4 kickoff and after finishing) is not good for anyone, but still I had alot of fun experimenting with things.
Thank you for having the 48 hour film porject so I could experience what its like to be a stressed out movie editor.
anyway, this is all I have to say, I wonder what alex will say.
Oh, and remind me next year, not to use chinese radio mic's, as they pick up police radio, and ruin takes.

Great Experience
Just wanted to say that I had a great time in my first 48 Hour Film Project (even if I did leave the DoP saying 'cut' in the final edit - and my apologies to all our cast and crew for that one).
Losing two hours of footage on Saturday afternoon thanks to a faulty DV tape left us struggling for time, but we still got our film in, and all round it was just great fun.
I'm looking forward to competing again next year.
