The Brisbane 48 Hour Film Project
What Happened During Your Weekend?
The Brisbane filmmakers share stories from their wild weekend of filmmaking. (Blogging ended shortly after the filmmaking weekend.)

Landing the horror genre was perfect. Our team of 8 cast and crew had sequenced a plot by 9pm and by 9.30 we had planned a rough shoot order. We wrapped filming at 5.30 am. I had to work at 8.15 am after 1 1/2 hours sleep and loaded footage during my breaks. The sound coordinator on the shoot and for post had already begun work on a score. When I started editing at 8pm Saturday, I told him the key audio I required. I got another 3 hours sleep between 4 and 7am. He only got 2 hours. Via mobile phone conversation and dropbox sharing we composed our final edit. Team Timeless have created a new horror Icon and I can proudly say that Silhouette is the the scariest film I have ever helped make. Our 2 sfx makeup girls even helped with lighting on tricky shots. Great team effort. Keep an eye out for it, pun intended!
