The New Orleans 48 Hour Film Project
What Happened During Your Weekend?
The New Orleans filmmakers share stories from their wild weekend of filmmaking. (Blogging ended shortly after the filmmaking weekend.)
I was amazed how many people on set wanted to learn how to make paper carnations for party decorations. First the 11 year old jumped in, then the older kids and i think a sound and camera guy popped over.. i only had to make 1 flower and repair the others. thank goodness the dragon was finished by then... could have been a disaster...

I just wanted to recommend that the 48 hour website type up a simple but detailed directions list for dropping large files to a jump drive. We didn't understand the message on the site and couldn't get our footage to our jump drives, it was a simple procedure that was done for us at the drop off location but it would save a lot of stress and time if we really knew how to fix that problem right off the bat, it should be clearly stated that all jump drives are likely to have to go through a formatting procedure in order to allow more than 4gigs at a time to be placed onto the drive. :)
