Congratulations to Emanuele Bosco of Portugal. He is the winner of the inaugural 48 Hour Feature Script Project. His winning script, entitled Undecidable is a 106 page drama with a story of hope, love, life choices... and... math!
Emanuele was one of three finalists selected from more than 75 entrants who submitted completed scripts. The other two finalists submitted excellent work.
- Lauren Schoepfer for There Are No Words
- Clayton Ignecia for Casanova
Our partner, NOBS Studios of the Netherlands, is working on pre-production of Undecidable and hopes to put it into production in the near future. In the meantime, Undecidable will receive a table read at Filmapalooza in March.
With the success of the first Feature Script Project, we are already making plans for 2020. Be sure to check upcoming newsletters for more details. The 2020 Feature Script Project will start in April.
What is the 48 Hour Feature Script Project?
It is an opportunity for veteran 48HFP filmmakers and writers to be recognized for a great script.
For years, 48 Hour filmmakers have proven their skill and creativity at filmmaking. The 48HFP is seeking to work with our talented filmmakers to go to the next level - create a feature film. As with any film, it all starts with the script.
The goal of the Feature Script Project is to find a script (or scripts) that can be successfully turned into a feature film. Of course, writers retain full ownership rights to their scripts.
The 48HFP is partnering with NOBS, an award winning Dutch production company for the inaugural 48HFP Feature Script Project. Our goal is to find and develop a script that is ready for production.
