Bruce Sales is a native of Asheville. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, he moved to New York City. He spent fifteen years composing & engineering in one of New York's most respected commercial music houses, DHMA. There he worked on albums, films, and top drawer advertising accounts like Pepsi, Budweiser, Visa, American Airlines, and Mercedes. Along the way he accumulated an impressive array of gear, instruments, SFX library, and mostly... experience. He is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, sound designer, engineer/mixer, website designer and media developer. In 2007 Bruce opened 2BruceStudio as a haven for his explosion of skills.

Gabriel Wardell & Paula Martinez love how the 48HFP brings filmmakers and enthusiasts together to celebrate in the creative process of making movies. They bring over 25 years of combined film programming, event planning and film festival experience to the event. Under the company banner of StickyToePads, Gabe and Paula offer film festival consulting services and event planning. They have also launched community initiatives like DecaturDocs and The Atlanta Film Forum, and assist in producing the Atlanta Pitch Summit.

Rob Hatch brought the 48 Hour Film Project to Portland in 2004, and now produces the 48HFP in Portland (Oregon) and Baltimore. He is filmmaker, video artist, producer, camera operator, and editor. He has a Master's degree in Film & Video production. His videos have screened at the MOMA in NYC, the Port Townsend Film Festival, the Discovery Channel, and the Weird US Christmas Special on the History Channel, and various venues in DC, Baltimore, and Portland (Oregon). His footage of Condoleeza Rice testifying before the 9/11 Commissions was featured in Fahrenheit 9/11.

When not involved in motion pictures, he has found time to work on award winning sculptures/vehicles for the Kinetic Sculpture Race and performed in several water ballets-both in Baltimore.

He lives in Baltimore with his wife and son Freeman.

Stelvio Attanasi

Video director, editor and City Producer of the 48 Hour Film Project in Spain.

In 2002 he completed the Audio Engineering Diploma at SAE Institute of Amsterdam. He got specialized in sound design and audio post-production for film.

In 2008 he was trained in video editing and began to collaborate with Godmother Films (Amsterdam) in video production.

In 2010 he became city producer in Spain of the 48 Hour Film Project.

Mo Rida is a Arab/American Filmmaker from NY who currently resides in Lebanon. Mo graduated from Brooklyn College in 2006, and has worked on a number of narrative and documentary films in the NYC and Michigan areas.

Over the past three years, Garrett & Rachel have been working as a team within the Buffalo area to galvanize the film community. Garrett is a mixed media maker as well as an avid writer, director and producer of the cinematic arts. His motto "Don't Wait Create" was the inspiration behind the foundation of the social networking platform for filmmakers- TheFVC.com (The Film Video Collective). Both Garrett & Rachel manage the digital platform. Currently they are working towards developing the website as a production tool, to help active makers communicate, collaborate and challenge each other in terms of the work. In addition to TheFVC.com, they are central figures in the development behind the Pierce-Arrow Film Arts Center in Buffalo, which is a project to revitalize a historic property for the use of the film & media arts communities.

Yogi Chopra and Preeti Gopalkrishnan are thoroughbred Bombay-iites, having lived all their lives in this colourful, exuberant city. While Yogi is a photographer, digital artist and new media specialist, Preeti's focus has been on communications for the social and development sector. Together they have organised India's first international digital art show in Kolkata & Mumbai and subsequently, several others. While Yogi is on the board of The Animation Society of India, Preeti has tremendous experience in organising all-India competitions.

Amanda is a co-founder of Four Productions - a Chicago based, full-service production and post house focused on creating branded and original content. That said, she has had the fortune of working with a vast interdisciplinary community of artists and thinkers in the industry.

She has been a participant and a volunteer in the Chicago 48 Hour Film Project and is looking forward to a second year behind the scenes!

Kat is excited to be on board as the Cincinnati 48 Hour Project Producer. In addition to doing new media consulting and producing indie projects, she is the Executive Director of the Cincinnati Film Festival. She works extensively in the Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana tri-state region, promoting the craft of filmmaking and the artisans of the regional filmmaking community.

Brian is going into his 6th year as the 48HFP Cleveland producer. Starting as an actor at a very young age, Brian has performed for over 25 years in theatre, commercials, industrials, and voiceover work. He attended Baldwin-Wallace four years in the BA Theatre program, and later returned to school at Full Sail University (online) in the BS Entertainment Business program. Brian has worked a variety of jobs in the arts and entertainment industry including work as an actor, writer, talent agent, and photography/media producer. Brian works year round with the 48HFP as Assistant Director of Operations.

KC Allen is owner of Allen FIlm & Video in Findlay, Ohio. He has owned and operated his company since September of 2001 and frequently wears all of the hats (writer, director, producer, DP, editor, composer, author, etc.) He was involved as an actor, 1stAD, 2nd unit director and rental house for a feature-length indie film, and has participated as a team member (DP) in two 48HFP events. In 2008 the 48HFP was introduced in Columbus for the first time, and it produced a Filmapalooza runner up and a screening at Cannes (Aidan 5). Since then the city has seen a return trip to Cannes (Stones, 2009) and the 48HFP has grown every year.

Danny Ohman began his career over 16 years ago at Bob Bain and Greg Sills Productions where he helped produce several marquee awards shows, including the Billboard Awards and the Teen Choice Awards for FOX, as well as the Kids Choice Awards for Nickelodeon. By working in the award show genre, Danny was fortunate to work with an amazing roster of musical talent: Aerosmith, Metallica, Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, Justin Timberlake, 98 Degrees, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Clint Black, Tony Bennett, Ricky Martin, and JenniferLopez.

After his initial foray in the industry, Danny worked in production on high quality shows for NBC, ABC, The Discovery Channel, ABC Family, HGTV, The Food Network, Fine Living Channel, and also spent four years as Head of Production for SiTV, the first English speaking Latino cable network, before joining Youtoo as VP of Production.

2012 was his first year as a Producer of the 48 Hour Film Project.

Together they have organised India's first international digital art show in Kolkata & Mumbai and subsequently, several others. While Yogi is on the board of The Animation Society of India, Preeti has tremendous experience in organising all-India competitions.

I produce festivals, festivals and more festivals. While I spend a lot of time contemplating my inexplicable loss of hair, that is never the case with the 48 Hour Film Project. I am excited to be a part of the event, am in awe of it's participants and thrilled at the positive affect it has on the city of Denver and the larger filmmaking community. This is my seventh year producing the event and I look forward to many more.

Sam Tuomi is the owner of Outpost 515 Productions and is very active in the Iowa indpendent film scene. For the last 8 years he has produced the Des Moines leg of the 48 Hour Film Project. Over the past year Sam has been involved with several independent film projects including directing and producing the horror short "Melody" and acting as Supervising Producer for the Web Series "Marooned" produced by Iowa Filmmakers. Sam also acted as Producer on the recent dark comedy short "I THink My Mom's Tring To Kill Me."

Mike Madigan movied to Michigan in 2000 and first began his film career as director of the short film "Caught" (2006), which screened at 11 film festivals in the US and began his ongoing interest in the digital short film format. 2007 saw continued success with the dramatic shorts "The Candle", "Demeter" and the follow-up "Demeter: Surrender" starring Rio Scafone.

In 2008 his experimental foreign-language film "Cadence" was accepted to 13 film festivals, including the Staten Island Film Festival (New York) and the Trenton Film Festival (New Jersey). He was also one of the producers of the dramatic television pilot "New Directions" (2008) filmed entirely in Detroit, Michigan.

In 2009, he was co-director of the zombie comedy "Dealbreaker" that saw film festival success from LA to Coney Island, NY. In 2010, he branched out into the romantic comedy realm with "4 Pictures", a highly stylized short that received acclaims including "Best Comedy" and "Best Director" through its tour of over 25 film festivals such as the Big Island Film Festival in Hawaii and local Michigan favorites like the Ferndale Film Festival.

Mike's additional experience includes screen writing training with Chuck Cirgenski of Zone V Productions, collaboration with "The D-Town Screenwriters Group", and one of the founding business partners of M-1 Studios in Ferndale, Michigan, providing business-to-business commercial and video productions.

Hugh is a graduate of the University of Limerick, where he graduated with with a Bachelors Degree of New Media and English. He is the author of Urban Legends Heard in Ireland. He is currently studying for a Masters Degree in Film Production and Direction in the Huston Film School in Galway. Hugh is very much looking forward to bringing the 48 Hour Film Project to Ireland.

I've been associate producer for the 48 HFP Johannesburg and Cape Town since its inception in South Africa. I enjoy running the 48HFP especially screenings when we get to see what people have done on the big screen.

Iris brings her leadership and organizational skills to the 48Hour Film Project for a fourth year in 2013. She grew up in Greensboro and has been involved in planning and logistics since her teens. A former news writer and editor, she now teaches writing at a local community college and offers freelance writing and editing services. Iris has learned more about movie-making through her involvement in a local film group and has volunteered with a movie making class for immigrants and refugees. Keith Flippen is a professional film, television, and voiceover actor based out of Norfolk, VA and owner of The Actors' Place, Inc. in Virginia Beach, VA. See his filmography. You can see him in Lifetime's "Army Wives", and in the 7th episode of Lifetime's new series "Drop Dead Diva".

In addition to acting, Keith a has been an agent, producer, and served as the US Administrator of the Russian American Theatre in St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Minsk.

Ross has been involved in the arts and community projects for over 20 years. Now, after spending 8 years in Vietnam, he wants to bring the project experience to the Vietnamese community and others living here. He's very excited about the emerging contemporary arts scene in Ho Chi Minh City and is looking forward to helping with funding more projects in the future!

Have you ever seen a filmmaker disguised as an accountant? Well look no further! I have been passionate about the film industry since the time I first picked up my father’s 8mm camera (at age 10) and shot my first movie. I have remained close and passionate about film by presenting special screenings of independent films throughout the Midwest over the years. I am a member of the Independent Filmmakers of the Inland Empire (I.F.I.E.)and have recently directed a short film. I am an advocate for opportunities that support the advancement and increase awareness of independent filmmakers.

Shari Goins has been editing movies for eight years. After receiving a BA in Moving Image Arts from The College of Santa Fe, she briefly worked at fox sports. It wasn't long before she started her own production company. Her accomplishments with her production company include being accredited by the BB, editing a TV series that now airs in Europe, and a feature film that is currently being prepared for national release. She competed several times in the Houston 48 Hour Film Project and one of her films went on to win the Gulf Coast Film and Video Festival. Shari is excited to be bringing the 48FHP to Mississippi and help organize the filmmakers in it.

Chris Ackerman grew up in Jacksonville with entertainment being a major part of his life. In 2008 and 2009 he served as the Director of Special Events for the Jacksonville International Film Festival. He helped to grow the festival to become a week-long event bringing over 100 films from all over the globe. During this time he produced the first ever Jacksonville Latino Film Festival.In 2010 he joined PRI as an event producer allowing him to put all of his life experiences together to help client's visions a reality. Chris believes everything is possible with a little imagination.

Mukundi graduated from AFDA with an honors in motion picture medium. She has worked on numerous short films as an editor, cinematographer and producer. She also has experience on various television productions as an editor.

Jason Turner is a writer, producer, director, actor and overall storyteller. He continues to work on new projects and is expanding in the midwestern film circles.

Don hails from Saskatchewan, Canada and has lived in Kaohsiung for over 12 years. His extensive media experience includes working as a radio DJ, magazine writer and editor. He has made two documentary films about independent music in Kaohsiung, and continues to work with indie filmmakers in the area. Don currently owns and operates a live music club in Kaohsiung.

Derek Stonebarger is an Emmy Award Winning TV Commercial Producer, Editor and Filmmaker. He participated in, and won the Las Vegas 48 Hour Film Project before being asked to produce it in 2010. Derek is an avid writer, director, editor and actor and currently owns the Las Vegas Arthouse theatre7, and is a partner at Las Vegas' Oldest Bar - Atomic - Which was featured in many films and TV shows including Martin Scorsese' Casino and The Hangover.

Actress from 2002 until 2008. Has been producing the Lisbon 48HFP since 2009.

Levi Agee, deeply embedded in the local film community as a full time

video editor and motion graphics artist at an Advertising Agency in

downtown Little Rock as well as writing a column about local film for

the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette in addition to being a programmer for

the Little Rock Film Festival, has still made time in the last five

years to have been a director, writer, actor, producer, editor, and

most importantly spectator to the 48 Hour Film Project. Having seen

the festival from every angle he is prepared to help host and promote

one of the most exciting and innovative film competitions from around

the world.

Sophie took over London 48HFP in 2010 and is hugely proud that London won in Miami on her first year!

A Producer, Director and Writer she runs Ginger Cat Productions. Since taking a sabbatical to complete an M.A. in Writing at Central, Sophie now works for a variety of broadcast and corporate clients, whilst pursuing her own writing and film making. She recently finished her first novel and is working on a screenplay.

Sophie lives with her husband (who handily is an editor) and two cats (who also like to help run the 48HFP, but with less success).

Michael and Leanne Westphal started a production company right after they were married in 2009, in effort to produce high quality content with compelling stories. While they were developing several feature properties, Michael and Leanne decided it would be a good exercise to produce a short for the Los Angeles 48HFP as Michael had acted in several other shorts for the competition in previous years. Being first time producers of the competition, their film, “Casting Call”, won ‘Best Film” of Los Angeles and screened the following year at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. They both love what this competition is all about and are excited to produce this year’s 48HFP for the great city of Los Angeles. Chad Thomas is an independent filmmaker whose production company has released over 35 short films, music videos, and corporate productions. He has worked on three award-winning 48 Hour films and has screened works at NAB, on KET (Kentucky Educational Television), and at various film festivals. Since January 2010, he has been producing content almost exclusively in 3D. 2012 will be his first year as a City Producer for 48HFP.

Rich Newman's film credits include The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003), The Alamo, and Friday Night Lights. He has worked for the SXSW Film Festival, the Austin Film Festival, and his films have appeared at numerous film festivals, including SXSW and Indie Memphis. Rich is currently the director of the Memphis Film Society, a published author of four books, and is shooting his own films in Memphis, Tennessee.

Jared is the founder of Ideogram Films - a Milwaukee based independent motion picture production house. He recently relocated to his home town of Milwaukee after working in the Vancouver, Baltimore, and Austin film industries. He has also been an active participant in the 48 Hour Film Project having successfully submitted films to Milwaukee in 2008, 2009, and 2010, to Austin in 2010, and to Chicago in 2012. His 48 Hour film "Cleaning House" was judged the Best Film in the Milwaukee 48 Hour Film Project 2010 and was screened at the Miami International Film Festival in 2011 as part of the Filmapalooza weekend hosted by the 48 Hour Film Project. This is Jared's first year as City Producer and he is anxious and excited to see what the passionate filmmakers in Milwaukee area are able to create in 2013!

Bill is owner of Larsen Grip Van - a Minneapolis/St. Paul based, full-service lighting, grip and electric rental service. Also, owner of Larsen Films, LLC a full-service video production company. He has produced short films, wedding videos, and corporate productions.

Tsogtbayar Namsrai’s biography.

After graduating University of Film Art in Mongolia, Tsogtbayar Namsrai moved to USA to get further educated. He worked as an interpreter for the time being until he finished school in San Francisco, CA. He translated numerous stage plays both from and to Mongolian and English. One of the plays he translated from Mongolian to English was selected to be staged at the “Hoorah” Chicago based stage play event.

Tsogtbayar Namsrai, also known as Tsogo, produced many short films and documentaries. He found the “Rise Pictures” studio in San Francisco and started working on independent projects which includes number of human rights short documentaries funded by Unicef and Globe International, NGO, short films such as “Main Ingredient”, “The End”, “Making of Face Down” and “Reality Check”, MMA documentary “Fight Life” and many other TV promos, music videos and instructional videos for corporations. When “Reality Check” premiered in local film festivals, it was invited to be presented at the ThreeC’s digital event for its special effects work and presentation.

Tsogo shoots, directs and edits his own films and he does work for others to do just about everything in post and production field. He worked as a director of photography in documentaries such as “Fight Life”, “Pac man Pacquiao” and “The man with a blue guitar”, an editor for feature length documentary “Mercury Rising” and director for documentary shorts “July 7th “, “Every step is a hurdle” and “Who’s responsible?”

Tsogo is a member of San Francisco Final Cut Pro Users Group, Northern American Producers Guild and SF Cutters. He also is the city producer for Mongolian 48 hour film project which is the largest timed international film making challenge in the world. The best film award winner “Dream” from Mongolian 48 hour film project 2010 was officially selected to be screened at the “Short film corner” of Cannes International Film Festival in Cannes, France. Tsogo won the best short award at the 3rd Annual San Francisco UFO film Festival with his short “UFO encounter” and the best film at the cooperative film festival with “Other Avenues”.

Tsogtbayar Namsrai is experienced in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier Pro and Avid editing programs and Adobe After Effects and Photoshop for visual effects and HD video formats such as P2 solid state card work flow and HDSLR.

He is currently working on documentary about Mongolian Contortionist Serchmaa Byamba and feature short “The Blessing”.

Lives in Los Angeles and Montreal, with over 20 years experience in the production world of music, film and television. Locally produced events at Gibson Amphitheatre, the Kodak, the Palladium, the Henry Fonda, the Ford Amphitheatre, the Alex, the El Rey, the WGA, the Raleigh Studios, the Glendale Civic, the Barnsdall Theatre and the Knob Hill Masonic Auditorium in San Francisco. John Herman is an artist, writer, and teacher. As NH Magazine says, “(John Herman) is in demand as a spokesman for the new revolution in communications media.” The Ford Motor Company named him a “top 100 Web influencer.” Indie culture touchstone Pitchfork called him "a writer, a media maker, and a compulsive ringleader." John was profiled by Chris Brogan in the book Google+ for Business. He is on the Board of Trustees of the NH Writers' Project and currently working on his first novel. He is an improv comedian who has performed for audiences in New York and Tokyo. He is also a TEDx host and TEDx speaker on the subject of innovating the arts through Social Media. This past year John was commended by then NH Governor Lynch for his efforts to go to space. His last 48 Hour Film Project before he transitioned to the producer role was "Coming of Age." It screened at Filmapalooza 2013 in Hollywood.

Trish Clark has been on the production team for a long list of shows at VH1 and received 2 Daytime Emmy's for Best Talk Show while working at the Rosie O'Donnell Show. Since starting the 48HFP on New Haven she's gotten back into film full force. Commercials, Music videos and Co-Producer for "My Brother Jack" & "A Dog Named Gucci" and more.

Alexander Garcia is a New Orleans native working in the local film and television industry. He has produced teams for the 2008 and 2010 48 Hour Film Projects in New Orleans. In addition to the 48 Hour Film Project, Alexander works with multiple festivals including the New Orleans Film Festival and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.

David is an award-winning director, writer and actor, bringing 15 years of filmmaking experience to 48HFP. As owner and operator of Match Productions, LLC, David has served clients at Moxie Pictures, Granada, A&E Networks, G4, Sam Adams, Visa, Sony, Simon & Schuster, Comcast, the History Channel and Harvard University since founding the company in 2006. He is a guest artist at Manhattan Theatre Club, one of the country’s most acclaimed theatre organizations, and was recipient of MTC’s coveted Maratony Prize in 2007 and 2008. David graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and currently serves on the board of UNC's Department of Communications Studies. David lives and works in New York City. He competed in six 48HFP competitions before becoming New York's City Producer in 2009.

Ben is an award-winning producer, director, and writer with a degree in Film and Video Production from Oklahoma City Community College where he was advised by Emmy and Oscar winning instructors. As owner and operator of Czeckered Past Productions, Ben has worked with many talented filmmakers and actors creating short films, features and documentaries.

Ben participated in the Oklahoma City 48 Hour Film Project for two years, creating two films which went on to screen in many festivals and won several awards. Now as the OKC Producer, he aspires to grow it into one of the best 48 Hour Film Projects in the country!

Rob started his involvement with the Florida film industry in the early 90's, when Universal Studios Florida came to town. He was lucky enough to serve as their Backlot Production Liaison and work on such projects as SuperForce, Swamp Thing, Superboy, and Nickleodeon's What Would You Do? and Super Double Dare, along with many other projects.

He is an avid and passionate photographer, writer, producer, and entertainment professional, who has a B.S. in Film and M.S. in Entertainment Business.

This will be his first year with the 48 Hour Film Project and he is looking forward to meeting many great and talented filmmakers in the Orlando area.

Landee Bryant received her undergraduate degree in the fine arts with an emphasis in photography. She dabbled in teaching art for a couple of years right out of college, but it was not for her. After being the Executive Director of an art center for two years, her dream job opened up at Maiden Alley Cinema. It inspired her to get my Master's degree in non-profit leadership and I now serve as the Executive Director of MAC (one of only four cinematic art houses in the state of Kentucky)! She thinks that participating in the 48HFP is an awesome opportunity and hopes that she and the Paducah filmmakers can represent our small corner of Western Kentucky well.

A 10-year veteran of the 48 Hour Film Project in Philadelphia, Mike's team, the Meatball Posse, won the the big prize in 2007 for their film, "Science: The Musical." Day-to-day, he helps manage the world's largest annual computer graphics conference, he's a PR guy, a freelance photojournalist and somehow finds time to be a husband and father, too.

Reserved pop-culture genius, in search of artistic challenges, Kahmeela Adams got her start in Event Production in Toledo, OH, with the family business, ADD Love Productions . After studying Broadcast Communications and Photography at The University of Toledo, Kahmeela decided to move on to The Art Institute of Pittsburgh for Video Production.

At AIP, Kahmeela fell in love with the art of video/film editing. Since graduating in 2000, Kahmeela has developed, and continues to operate, RuggedAngel Productions as a photography and event production service. For the past 4 years, Kahmeela has produced the Pittsburgh 48 Hour Film Project. Kahmeela also serves, as Secretary, on the Board of Directors at The Hollywood Theater in Dormont, one of the last surviving single-screen movie houses in the Pittsburgh area. The rest of Kahmeela’s time is spent assisting in the production of jazz concerts & recordings at Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild with MCG Jazz.

Born and raised in Norridgewock, Maine, Allen Baldwin has been putting together films with independent flair and a DIY attitude for over a decade. After graduating from Bowdoin College, Allen moved to Portland, Maine to follow his interest in a film-making career. While getting experience as a freelancer on local productions, he also worked at a local video rental house, where he took advantage of the opportunity to study foreign, independent, and otherwise esoteric films.

After nearly a decade working at Catama Productions in South Portland, working on commercials and corporate videos, Allen recently started his own production company, Strongpaw Productions. With his new company, Allen will be focusing on directing and producing branded entertainment, web videos, and independent film productions. Most recently, he directed a music video for blues musician Samuel James, and produced the short horror anthology “Damnationland”, which features several short horror films made by Maine filmmakers that screens throughout Maine and beyond.

In addition to his passion for all things film related, Allen is an avid gardener, dog owner, home brewer, and basketball coach. Most recently, he and his wife Jenn became the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl, Nora. She has already been cast in several roles.

Rob Hatch brought the 48 Hour Film Project to Portland in 2004, and now produces the 48HFP in Portland and Baltimore. He is filmmaker, video artist, producer, camera operator, and editor. He has a Master's degree in Film & Video production. His videos have screened at the MOMA in NYC, the Port Townsend Film Festival, the Discovery Channel, and the Weird US Christmas Special on the History Channel, and various venues in DC, Baltimore, and Portland. His footage of Condoleeza Rice testifying before the 9/11 Commissions was featured in Fahrenheit 9/11.

When not involved in motion pictures, he has found time to work on award winning sculptures/vehicles for the Kinetic Sculpture Race and performed in several water ballets-both in Baltimore.

He lives in Baltimore with his wife and son Freeman.

Samantha Tucker is a creative producer specializing in commercial production. You are likely to see some of her work whenever you turn on the TV; including the latest GEICO “Happier Than” ads featuring Dikembe Mutombo and the Pillsbury Doughboy. Her passion is storytelling through film, and she is excited to bring that passion back to the Richmond 48HFP for a second year.

Sam is a Richmond native, born and raised in the river city. She is a full time Producer at The Martin Agency and an active member of the local production community.

Hans Groenendijk (Rotterdam, 1980) started to work as a journalist after finishing studies in Communication. After writing and filming for a local newspaper and a local television station, he started his own production company in 2007. As a director he won the 2009 edition of the 48 Hours Film Project in Utrecht. Enthusiastic about the concept, he decided to organize the festival in Rotterdam as well.

Dana Fox has always felt strange talking about herself in the third person... so I'm not going to.

I am a lawyer by day and a film fanatic by night. My goal as the City Producer for San Antonio is to promote our Independent Film Community and get San Antonio on the international map as a great city to make films.

We San Antonians all know that San Antonio is the best Big City with a Small Town feel in the U.S. and is the perfect location for filming. We just need to let the rest of the world know it!

Fascinated at an early age by photography, Duane Trammell began taking pictures while in grade school. As he got older, his interest grew to include film and video.

He produced his first short film while a freshman in high school. This film later became a permanent part of his school’s library of educational films. He continued to experiment in film while serving in the US Navy. Most of his work during this period explored various forms of animation.

After leaving the Navy, he decided to pursue an education in film earning a Bachelor's degree in Television, Film and New Media Production from San Diego State University.

He has produced film and art gallery exhibitions for the internationally renowned Chicano art collaboration ‘Los Anthropolocos’ as well as commercial work for such clients as the Hard Rock Café, USS Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum, Ballast Point Brewery and San Diego City College. Since graduating San Diego State University, he has worked as Producer, Associate Programmer and Juror for the Temecula Valley International Film and Music Festival and Assistant Director/2nd Unit Director for the feature film ‘Something Blue’. He has participated in two previous 48 Hour Film Project competitions in 2005 and 2007. In both years the films he directed won numerous awards, as well as being runner up for Best Film.

Currently, Duane has formed the professional partnership of Atomic Phizz Productions with actor/physician and good friend Jeff Krebs. Their partnership continues to expand as they produce industrial videos and independent films.

Vincent is producing the event in San Francisco for the fourth year. He is serving in his seventh year in San Jose and is proud to represent both Bay Area events.

Prior to becoming the San Jose Producer, he produced several 48 Hour Films himself and still yearns to do so again.

As a day job, Vincent manages Schoolhouse Earth where he designs learning programs that combine traditional delivery with media and film.

Claudia Fernández is a Bolivian Filmaker, she directed, produce, film and edit shortfilms, videoclips, videart, videodance and several documentaries, from about 25 years ago.

She works at the same time runing intensive workshops creating film products in one week, in shortfilms, videoarte, videoclip, videodance and documentaries.

At this time Claudia Fernández is opening a Film & Visual Arts School in Santa Cruz de la Sierra Bolivia.

Born in Rome, Italy, he graduated from University 'La Sapienza' of Rome with a Masters Degree in Film History and Criticism in 1999. His dissertation concentrated on the work of Hollywood director, Kathryn Bigelow. Since the early 1990’s, Alessandro has collaborated on short films, animation, and music videos with the students of 'Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia' in Rome. Additionally, he has helped to promote various theatrical performances and social events in Italy.

In 2000, he moved to San Francisco where he began working as a Lab Technician in the Department of 2D Animation at the Academy of Art College (which later became Academy of Art University). He enhanced his digital film and technical skills by exploring the latest software and techniques in animation.

In 2001, he received the Medialink Certificate from BAVC, which allowed him to work as a freelance web designer and videographer for many companies such as Current TV, Stars Agency, La Dolce Vita SF, Notable Inc., ItaliAmore Show and Red Clover Studios. In the same year he became one of the team organizers of the Fall Animation Festival and the Spring Show at Academy of Art University.

In 2005, he co-founded CurlyHairedPeople Films and has created more than 20 short action films, including award winning music videos and flash animation featured at various festivals and competitions (6 times in 3 different cities for 48HFP.)

Currently, Alessandro works as a Supervisor in the School of Animation & Special Effects (AAU), and continues to explore film and multimedia projects such as Kickstarter Campaigns. He is also involved in promoting community events: concerts, art and photography exihibitions for the Italian Cultural Institute. He is currently teaching and developing modules for Italian Language and Production classes at the Academy of Art University.

Krk Nordenstrom is a filmmaker and teacher in Seattle, WA. In 2004, he pestered the founders of the 48HFP to the point where they asked him to participate in the National Film Challenge. One of the 2 films he produced won best in genre. At the 2005 Filmapalooza in San Jose, CA, he was asked by Mark and Liz to run the Seattle leg of the 48 Hour Film Project. He enthusiastically said yes and has run it since 2005. He has grown it into the largest filmmaking competition in Seattle.

HI, my name is Joseph Kim. I have had a passion for directing shot films. Ever since I was about 16 years old. I starts to run with the dream of become a famous film director. I'd like to work hard in the film industry. Get to know allot of filmmakers. Do some famous work with talented individuals.

I am a graduate from University of Colorado at Denver. This enabled me to craft my skills in movie production. I came to South Korea 8/01/09. In the States, I have worked for a fortune five hundred company. Here, I was able to work on helicopters. I paid for my University working with Air-methods. Due to the recession I came to to Korea.

In 2009, I was the writer for the short film " Lake without words". In which, I was the writer of the short. We won the best use of dialogue in 2009 for the 48 FTP. During this event I got to network with allot of people with similar interests. I feel as the 48 hour film event was a great event in which filmmakers got to network.

I have a story to share with you. When I had touch down in South Korea in 2009. I had a vision to make inspirational movies. I was shut down by many people in South Korea. I didn't give up. I made a great friend in which we could collaborate on different film projects. From there we have had a working relationship. We have produced commercials, short-films, and documentaries. This was the kick starter of creating contents in South Korea.

I am a writer for a small game company. However I can never escape the passion for making short films. And getting my self involved in some kinds of film production. The 48 hour film event.

The 2012 48 hour film event has enabled me to network with so many creative genuine people from Koreans, Goypo's, to expats. I'm blessed to be around good people. People that had worked together in Seoul to share the idea of film making. In South Korea it's an exiting time to be in the film industry as it is still growing. The Korean K pop and film industry is really exciting. I'm glad to be the city producer of 48 hour film event here in Seoul.

Jay majored in film at the University of Southern California and has always been an avid moviegoer. He worked as an editor for several short films and a feature documentary called "Pablo". Jay currently works as a training consultant for Advance Consulting. He is thrilled to be producing the 48 Hour Film Project in Shanghai this year and looks forward to seeing what Shanghai's teams can create!

With over 20 years' experience dedicating to the entertainment industry, Dennis Nieh, an accomplished

variety show host, actor and singer, has hosted over a 1000 shows.

He started his career in 1992 in Los Angeles as a radio host and a producer of a music channel in KAZN.

He was invited back to Taiwan in 1997, where he continues and expands his multi-talented skill in show businesses.

Dennis has been a regular host in a number of film festivals such as the Golden Horse and the Asia Pacific Film Festival.

His most recent and significant achievement has been the host of Lady Gaga’s New Album launches tour.

In 2006 I participated in the Film Challenge, which I loved so much that I wanted to participate in the 48 Hour Film Project in the Netherlands, alas there was none yet. So together with a wonderful friend Chris we started the 48 Hour in the Netherlands and since then things have gone crazy :-)

Currently the Netherlands has four 48 Hours and its hard to find any filmmakers who don't know the 48 Hour.

Rimma believes a critical aspect of successful filmmaking is the ability to rely on a strong network of people. In short, that's what attracted her to the 48hour film project. It's an incredible way of meeting your fellow local filmmakers and coming to together to inspire, collaborate, create and network in order to establish a successful filmmaking community.

Originally from Lithuania, Rimma grew up in NYC and graduated from Brooklyn College in 2011 with a degree in film production as well as cultural anthropology. She has worked on numerous narratives and music videos since.

Mark came up with the idea for the 48 Hour Film Project back in 2001. As a filmmaker in his own right, Mark's belief in the power of creativity led him to challenge filmmakers to see what they can do in a single weekend.

The results have been phenomenal as the 48 Hour Film Project has found a place in 100 cities around the world--with more than 180,000 people having participated to date, creating more than 15,000 films. Mark heads the international organization that runs the 48 Hour Film Project, coordinating more than 90 producers around the world. Mark's producing experience includes films, stage shows and special events.
