Get Ready for An Amazing Challenge!

The weekend? June 9 - 11, 2017

The challenge? To make a film in only 48 hours!

Filmmakers from all over the Salt Lake City, UT area will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world at Filmapalooza 2018 for a chance at the grand prize and an opportunity to screen at the Cannes Film Festival 2018, Court Métrage.

What's so special about the 48 Hour Film Project?

The 48HFP challenges

your team to write, shoot, edit, score and a short

film in only 48 hours. You will be assigned two random genres and you must shoot your

film using either, or both, of the genres. Each city will be

assigned its own set of elements - character, prop and line of dialogue.

Kickoff Event

Run on back to The Broadway Center Cinemas again to get your film to us. Remember to be on time you have to be inside the doors by 7:30pm.
