The San Antonio 48 Hour Film Project
What Happened During Your Weekend?
The San Antonio filmmakers share stories from their wild weekend of filmmaking. (Blogging ended shortly after the filmmaking weekend.)
A Merry Christmas
What an awesome adventure we had. Our team name was very appropriate, since we had a potpourrie of actors and crew personnel coming together for the first time. I think we offered a positive set experience for most of the people involved and would be willing to do this again next year. It was definitely a learning experience and a journey that will not be forgotten in a long time. If there is one take away that I would share is perseverance. Never give up. No matter what the circumstances are. Sleep is over rated, but highly desired.... All the best to everyone. Please be gentle on our novice team.

Congratulations!
All the teams who participated did an amazing job!
We had our first team drop off their film at 10:30 am and that honor goes to Team Choosetube.
7:15pm was probably the busiest time at the drop off by far.
The tapes are with the editor as we speak and I can not wait to see them on the big screen on wednesday.
If you have not done so be sure to buy your tickets online now at www.drafthouse.com/westlakes/
Screening is Wednesday, August 19 Group A and B will screen at the same time at 7:00pm and 9:30pm.
The Award Ceremony and Best of Screening will take place Saturday August 22, at Urban 15 and tickets can be purchased at www.urban15.org or at the door for $5.00 cash only.
I am proud of each and every one of you for putting in your hard work and creativity and hope you continue to make films in the Texas market.
I am looking forward to seeing your blog postings!
See you Wednesday!
