All Welcome! First-timer to Hobbyists to Amateurs to Professionals!
Take your filmmaking to the NEXT LEVEL!
Wherever you are currently in your filmmaking journey, the 48 Hour Film Project is a valuable next step!
•. Make your FIRST film... the first of many!
•. Create a film (or another film!) for your reel
• Practice new techniques -- in a low-risk setting
•. Find new filmmaking partners to work with, beginning on a (very!) short-term basis
• Create work to help show off your skills to find that next job!
Plus, new this year… the top three teams will be eligible for the soon-to-be-announced 48HFP “Yes We Cannes” challenge in December!
To encourage diverse storytelling as part of the competition, we are pleased to offer the 48HFP Indigenous & Multicultural Filmmaker's Grant. This grant is open to Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse/Multicultural filmmakers residing in South Australia to enable them to participate in the Adelaide 48 Hour Film Project.
Four grant recipients will receive up to $500 in total to support the costs of the competition. This may include registration fee, equipment rental through ProAV Solutions, and/or accommodation or travel costs (for regional applicants).
Submissions open today, Monday 18 July
Closing date is Monday 29 August at 11:59 pm.
