2020 has brought lots of changes to the world around us. The 48 Hour Film Project returns to Asheville in a new, online form, featuring an online Kickoff, online Drop Off and live streaming Premiere Screenings of the films:
US VIRTUAL 48 HOUR FILM PROJECT
October 16-18, 2020
All Events are Virtual!
Due to the pandemic, the regular 48HFP has been postponed to 2021 in Asheville and a number of cities across the US. In its place, is the US Virtual 48HFP! This event follows all of the same rules as the regular 48 Hour Film Project [with an assigned genre (choice of 2 as usual), a character, a prop and a line of dialogue at the online Kickoff and 48 hours to make a film!], but is open only to teams in US cities that did not have a live event this year.
Since March, filmmakers have been enjoying virtual events in other 48HFP cities around the world. Don't let 2020 stop you from making a film this year. Register today!
