1. Eligibility
The Four Points Film Project is open to filmmakers around the world. In the United States, the Team Leader must be a legal resident or legal visitor of the United States or the District of Columbia. The following are not eligible: employees, contractors, directors and officers of 48 Hour Film Project, Inc. (48HFP), or the Four Points Film Project (4PFP), its parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, distributors, web design, advertising, fulfillment, judging and Project agencies involved in the administration, development, fulfillment and execution of this Project (collectively, Project Parties), and the immediate family members of each (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, and spouse or step of each) and those living in their same households (those persons whether related or not who live in the same residence for at least three months during the twelve-month period preceding the start date of the Project). Outside of the United States, residency requirements may vary. Void where prohibited.

2. To Enter
To register for the Four Points Film Project in the United States, follow the instructions found on www.fourpointsfilmproject.com. Registration is based on a first-come first-served basis and space is limited. Early bird registration fees are $125. Regular registration fees are $150. Late registration fees are $165. Early bird registration begins 8 weeks before a competition and closes 4 weeks before the competition. Regular registration begins 4 weeks before the competition and closes 2 weeks before the competition. Late registration begins 2 weeks before the competition.3. Official Filmmaking Period
The Four Points Film Project will commence on a Friday and end on the following Monday as announced on the Four Points Film Project website.4. Horario de Reembolso

5. Participation of Minors
Entrants may wish to consider having at least one member of its team be 21 years or older. Any participant under the age of eighteen (18) must have a parent sign his/her required document(s).6. Acuerdo del Jefe de Equipo

9. Kickoff Event
Entrants must provide a valid email address to which the Four Points Film Project organizers will send the official competition assignment.
10. Basic Requirements of the Project
Entrants must adhere to the official 4PFP Filmmaking Rules. In addition, in the Kickoff Email, Entrants will receive an assignment and be given three days to make a video (an Entry). See www.48hourfilm.com/4pfp for details.
11. Project Terms of Submission
By submitting an Entry into this Four Points Film Project, each Entrant warrants and represents that the Entrant owns all rights to the Entry he/she is entering in this Project, including, without limitation, the video or digital recording, and the performance contained in each Entry, with the exception of any assets provided by the "48HFP/4PFP" for use by Entrants in connection with this Project. Each Entrant further warrants and represents that the Entrant has obtained permission from each person who appears in the Entry to grant the rights to the Project Parties described in these Official Rules, and will submit copies of such permissions to the Project Parties. By submitting an Entry, Entrant agrees to the Official Rules, and further agrees to indemnify and hold the 48HFP and 4PFP, Project Parties and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, agents, co-branders or other partners, and any of their employees (collectively, the Project Indemnitees), harmless from any and all claims, damages, expenses, costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) and liabilities (including settlements), brought or asserted by any third party against any of the Project Indemnitees due to or arising out of the Entrant's Entry materials in this Project, or the Entrant's conduct during and in connection with this Project, including but not limited to trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property rights, right of publicity, right of privacy or defamation. Entrant agrees to release, indemnify and hold harmless "48HFP" and "4PFP" and the Project Parties from any and all claims that any advertising, presentation, web content or any other material subsequently produced, presented, and/or prepared by or on behalf of "48HFP" or the Project Parties infringes on the rights of Entrant's work as contained in any Entry.12. Location
The "4PFP" is an online competition. Therefore, participants may be based anywhere that participation in online competitions is legally permitted. Entrants will receive the official email assignment via email on Friday13. Designar Líder de Equipo

14. Selection of Winners
Entries will be judged by a process in which qualified panels of judges will evaluate the eligible entries based on the following judging criteria:
- Artistic Merit (e.g., Story, Creativity, Entertainment Value) (45%)
- Technical Merit (30%)
- Adherence to the Assignment (25%)
In addition, there will be an online Audience Award, full voting rules will be posted on www.48hourfilm.com/4pfp.
15. Four Points Film Project Winner
The Top Entry from all eligible submissions will be declared the winner. In the event of a tie, the tie will be broken based on the highest score in the first Judging Criteria, continuing thereafter to each Judging Criteria in order, as needed to break the tie. Entrants agree that the 48HFP has the sole right to decide all matters and disputes arising from this Four Points Film Project and that all decisions of 48HFP are final and binding.
16. Winners Prizes
The top Entry will be awarded a trophy; will be screened at Filmapalooza, the Annual 48 Hour Film Project, Inc. Awards Weekend (date and location to be announced); will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner.
17. Condiciones Generales
