Sarah Anderson Intern
Iris Carter Marketing Strategist
Throughout Iris' entire life, she has been immersed in creative activities. Her love of writing was nurtured early when her fourth grade teacher liked a play Iris wrote and allowed her to produce it for the class. Perhaps that spark ignited her desire to be Greensboro’s City Producer, to create an environment that respects and honors the work of local filmmakers, just as her teacher honored and respected her. Starting in 2010, Iris has worked to make each 48HFP event better than the one before it, encouraging teams to have fun, stretch their creative muscles, and bring in an audience to see the films produced by the talented folks of this area. A North Carolina native, Iris has lived in the Greensboro area most of her life and is proud to be among the global network of filmmakers brought together by the 48HFP.
