The weekend? July 10 - 12, 2020

The challenge? To make a film in only 48 hours!

Filmmakers from all over the Greensboro, NC area will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world at Filmapalooza 2021 for a chance at the grand prize and an opportunity to screen at the Cannes Film Festival 2021 Short Film Corner.

Filmmakers from across the state and beyond create short films July 10-12, and those films are screened in three separate groupings July 17 and 18. Audiences choose their favorites; judges review films for various awards including best overall film to advance to the international competition, Filmapalooza. The award-winning films are screened during the "Best of" followed by an awards presentation to reveal the winners.
