The Chicago 48 Hour Film Project

The 48 Hour Film Project comes to Chicago on the weekend of August 22 - 24, 2014. Filmmakers from all over the Chicago area will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world.

This year, teams will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Once the initial registration is complete, we will add teams to a waiting list.

Early Bird Registration is $140. Teams must register on or before Thursday, July 31 to get this special rate. Regular registration is $160. If teams register after Tuesday, August 12 they must pay a rate of $175.

Notes  The Chicago 48 Hour Film Project invites all Chicagoland filmmakers to attend a meet and greet at Schuba's Tavern on Tuesday, July 29th at 6:00 PM. We encourage everyone participating in this year's 48 Hour Film Project to attend so that you can network and build teams, register, and also receive announcements and other information regarding the August 22nd kickoff. We'll be meeting in the second floor private event room so remember to bring your business cards to network and build your teams and we hope to see you there!
