The Minneapolis 48 Hour Film Project

The 48 Hour Film Project comes to Minneapolis on the weekend of June 5 - 7, 2015. Filmmakers from all over the Minneapolis area will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world.

This year, teams will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Once the initial registration is complete, we will add teams to a waiting list.

Regular registration is $160. If teams register after Tuesday, May 26 they must pay a rate of $175.

Costume Rentals Workshop

Date  Tuesday, May 26
Time  7PM
Place  Costume Rentals, 855 E. Hennepin Ave Minneapolis, MN
Notes  Filmmakers are invited to a costume workshop held inside Costume Rentals. Afterwards, filmmakers are welcome to tour the venue and browse over 30,000 costumes.

Kickoff

Place  Crooked Pint Ale House, 501 Washington Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55415
Notes  Team Leaders will draw their genres and be given the required elements to use in their film. The 48 hours to write, shoot and edit their film begins.

Dropoff

Date  Sunday, June 7
Time  4:30 - 9:00pm (by 7:30pm to be on time!)
Place  Crooked Pint Ale House, 501 Washington Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55415
Notes  Team Leaders return to the drop-off point and hand in their films.

Premiere Screenings
