The Fargo 48 Hour Film Project

The 48 Hour Film Project comes to Fargo on the weekend of May 16. Filmmakers from all over the Fargo area will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world for the title "Best 48 Hour Film of 2008".

Enter today! Space is limited.

Teams will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the initial registration is full, we will put teams on a waiting list. If a registered team drops out or if we add additional theater space, teams on the waiting list will be added to the Project.

Early Bird Registration is $135. Teams must register on or before Monday, April 21, to get this special rate. Afterwards, registration is $155.

Meet & Greet

Date: Saturday, April 19th
Time: 1:00pm-4:00pm
Place: Room 212, in the Jones Science Center, (8th St. and 12th Ave.)Concordia College Campus, Moorhead, MN
Notes: Learn about the event from local producers Ira Livingston, and JJ Gordon (previous particpant). Disscussion will talk about tips, and pointers on getting your film done in just one weekend.

Kickoff

Date: Friday, May 16
Time: 6-7pm
Place: Babb's Coffee House, 604 Main Avenue, Fargo, ND
Notes: Teams arrive at 6pm and can leave by 7pm. You must have someone present to draw the genre for your film. Please limit total attendees to two people.

Dropoff

Date: May 18
Time: by 7:30pm to be on-time

Screenings

Date: Tuesday, May 20th
Time: 7:00pm & 9:00pm
Place: Fargo Theatre, 314 N. Broadway, Fargo, ND
Notes: Tickets can be purchased at the door half an hour before the first screening. Tickets will sell out, so be sure to get in line early!
