After much deliberation, our distinguished panel of judges has selected this year’s winning films. Congratulations to all of the filmmakers and teams who participated. We are proud to announce our winners.

The Best Film of 2025 goes to Hot Batteries! Their film ‘’Last Living Bird’’ will go on to represent Greensboro against all the other city winners from around the world at Filmapalooza 2026!

We offer a huge applause to everyone who rose to the challenge and made a film in just 48 hours! An extra-special shoutout to Hot Batteries for their film, “Last Living Bird” which is flying high and headed to Filmapalooza in Lisbon for its European Premiere! They are competing against city winners around the world for a spot at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner!
