Outdoor screening of locally made short films! Taking place at Upper Denburn Gardens, Aberdeen.
Join us for Walk In Cinema, Shorts Showcase Aberdeen - a night of locally made short films, screening at the unconventional venue of Upper Denburn Gardens! 📽️ 💚
The top deck of Denburn car park has become a urban garden used for all sorts of creative and community events. We are excited to share that for one night only, it will come a cinema! We invite you to watch a series of short films, all with a connection to the Granite City. Please see our Open Call details below - we would love to hear from you if you have a film you would like to share.
OPEN CALL FOR SHORT FILMS
Contact submissions@crowhouseprojects.com with a link to your film and include a short sentence describing the film, along with any content warnings. The criteria for submission are as follows:
🩶 Locally made in Aberdeen City or Shire, or have a connection to the area
⏱️ Under 10 minutes
💬 Captions (if not possible, all films will be auto-captioned)
🎬 Open to trailers, teasers, works in progress, student films
DEADLINE: 9am Sunday 11th October
Please note this venue is outdoors, on the top deck of a repurposed car park, so not the traditional cinema setting. Submission is free and will get you free entry to the event.

Awards will be announced in 40 categories, including Best use of Prop and of course the Paw d'Or. We will also recognise those Bravehearts who participated in all 4 Scottish competitions!
