The 48 Hour Film Project

The Philadelphia 48 Hour Film Project

Exhausted Philadelphia Teams Submit Films

Filmmaking teams from throughout the Philadelphia area successfully completed a weekend of filmmaking. Films were due on Sunday, April 26 and the last few minutes before the deadline saw filmmakers, operating on little sleep and lots of adrenaline, rushing to get their films in on time.

All of the films that were submitted on Sunday night will screen on the dates below. Come see what Philadelphia area filmmakers can do!

Philadelphia 48HFP Events

Premiere Screenings

Date  May 3rd
Time  1:00 PM & 2:45 PM
Place  International House Philadelphia, 3701 CHESTNUT STREET, PHILADELPHIA, PA 19104
Tickets  $10/ticket (purchase them here)
Notes  View all of the films from this year's 48 Hour Film Project! Filmmakers had just two days to write, produce, and edit their short films using a genre, character, prop, and line of dialogue that weren't revealed until the Kickoff. Over 300 people worked to create their films before the 48 hour deadline, and now you can see all of those great films up on the big screen at the International House! We encourage you to purchase tickets online ahead of time. There will be a limited number of tickets (cash only) available at the door on the day of the screenings.

Note that there are two separate screenings, and different films appear in each screening. The full list of which films will be screening in each group will be posted on this page soon!
