*This is extra special as it's a co-hosted networking event featuring local artists, musicians and creatives! It's a fertile recruiting ground with light hors d'oevres and refreshments. Conversations and connections can continue after 8pm at Kincaids a short distance away. Free parking is at Market and Columbus Streets. Hope to see you there!

For those new to the 48HFP, registered filmmakers have not written their scripts. They don't know what type of film they are going to make over the weekend! They draw their genre, get their final elements, leave the Kick Off to write their scripts and shoot their 4 - 7 minute movie over the weekend.
Any actors, crew or willing volunteers not connected to a team yet are welcome to be present! The City Producer will introduce you as available for the weekend to, hopefully, connect you with to filmmakers ooking to fill out their team. Whether you have a location for a shoot, have cool costumes to lend, or are most comfortable running for coffee, or.... you just want to check us out, come down to FR8 House Coffee Co. and experience the excitement of a 48HFP KICK OFF!
