The weekend? July 14 - 16, 2017

The challenge? To make a film in only 48 hours!

Filmmakers from all over the Cleveland, OH area will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world at Filmapalooza 2018 for a chance at the grand prize and an opportunity to screen at the Cannes Film Festival 2018, Court Métrage.

Kickoff Event

Kickoff will be held in Community Room 125 on the first floor.

All registered teams will assemble for the Kickoff of the 10th Anniversary of the Cleveland 48HFP! Each team will draw a slip of paper and choose one of the two different genres listed to make their film. Then right before 7:00pm, we'll announce the character, line of dialogue, and prop that need to be included in everyone's films.

From there, it's a race to get the films completed in just 48 hours!
